Liability for contents

As a service provider, we are responsible for our own content on these pages in accordance with the general laws pursuant to the German Data Protection Act (DSGVO) and Section 7 (1) of the German Telemedia Act (TMG). According to §§ 8 to 10 TMG, however, we are not obliged as a service provider to monitor transmitted or stored third-party information or to investigate circumstances that indicate illegal activity.

Obligations to remove or block the use of information in accordance with general laws remain unaffected by this. However, liability in this regard is only possible from the point in time at which a concrete infringement of the law becomes known. If we become aware of any such infringements, we will remove the relevant content immediately.

Liability for links

Our website contains links to external websites of third parties over whose content we have no influence. Therefore, we cannot assume any liability for these external contents. The respective provider or operator of the pages is always responsible for the content of the linked pages. The linked pages were checked for possible legal violations at the time of linking.

Illegal contents were not recognizable at the time of linking.

EHowever, permanent monitoring of the content of the linked pages is not reasonable without concrete indications of a legal violation. If we become aware of any infringements of the law, we will remove such links immediately.

Copyright

The contents and works on these pages created by the site operators are subject to Swiss copyright law. Duplication, processing, distribution, or any form of commercialization of such material beyond the scope of the copyright law shall require the prior written consent of its respective author or creator. Downloads and copies of this site are only permitted for private, non-commercial use.

Insofar as the content on this site was not created by the operator, the copyrights of third parties are respected. Third-party content is marked as such. Should you nevertheless become aware of a copyright infringement, please inform us accordingly. If we become aware of any infringements, we will remove such content immediately.

Data protection declaration
in accordance with the General Data Protection Regulation (EU) and the Telemedia Act

Unfortunately, it is in the nature of things that these explanations sound very technical, but we have tried to describe the most important things as simply and clearly as possible when creating them.

Collection and storage of personal data when visiting the website

Nowadays, when you visit websites, certain information is automatically created and stored, including on this website.

When you visit this website, as you are doing right now, our web server automatically stores data such as • the address (URL) of the website you are visiting
• browser and browser version
• the operating system used
• the address (URL) of the previously visited page (referrer URL)
• the host name and IP address of the device from which access is made
• the date and time
in files (web server log files).

As a rule, web server log files are stored for a fortnight and then automatically deleted. We do not pass on this data, but we cannot exclude the possibility that this data may be viewed in the event of unlawful behavior.

Collection of personal data using cookies

This website uses only strictly necessary and functional cookies. These cookies are necessary to ensure basic functions of the website.

The so-called "Cookie Guidelines" have been in place since 2009. These state that the storage of cookies requires your consent.

Within Switzerland and the EU countries, there are quite different local implementations of these guidelines. In Germany, the Cookie Directives were not implemented as national law. Instead, this directive was largely implemented in § 15 para.3 of the German Telemedia Act (TMG).

If you generally do not want cookies, you can set up your browser so that it always informs you when a cookie is to be set. In this way, you can decide for each individual cookie whether you allow the cookie or not. The procedure varies depending on the browser. The best thing to do is to search for the instructions in Google using the search term "delete cookies Chrome" or "disable cookies Chrome" in the case of a Chrome browser or replace the word "Chrome" with the name of your browser, e.g. Edge, Firefox, Safari.

Storage and forwarding of personal data

It is possible to use my website without providing personal data. As far as personal data (e.g. name, address or e-mail addresses) are collected on my pages, this is always done, as far as possible, on a voluntary basis. This data will not be passed on to third parties without your express consent.

We therefore only use your personal data for communication with those visitors who expressly wish to be contacted and for processing the services and products offered on this website.

We do not pass on your personal data without your consent, but we cannot rule out the possibility that this data may be accessed in the event of unlawful behavior.

TLS encryption with https

We use https to transmit data in a tap-proof manner on the Internet (data protection by technical design Article 25(1) DSGVO). By using TLS (Transport Layer Security), an encryption protocol for secure data transmission on the Internet, we can ensure the protection of confidential data. You can recognize the use of this data transmission protection by the small lock symbol at the top left of the browser and the use of the https scheme (instead of http) as part of our internet address.

If you contact ZIEGLER CONSULTING by unencrypted e-mail, we assume that you agree to further correspondence by unencrypted e-mail as well.

A mandate is only established with the acceptance of a concrete offer and order, not already through electronic contact.

So, and whoever would like to read on:

LinkedIn privacy policy

On our website we use social plug-ins of the social media network LinkedIn, of the company LinkedIn Corporation, 2029 Stierlin Court, Mountain View, CA 94043, USA. The social plug-ins can be feeds, sharing of content or links to our LinkedIn page. The social plug-ins are clearly marked with the familiar LinkedIn logo and allow, for example, interesting content to be shared directly via our website. For the European Economic Area and Switzerland, LinkedIn Ireland Unlimited Company Wilton Place in Dublin is responsible for data processing.

By embedding such plug-ins, data can be sent to LinkedIn, stored and processed there. In this privacy policy, we would like to inform you about what data is involved, how the network uses this data and how you can manage or prevent data storage.

XING privacy policy

We use social plugins of the social media network Xing, of the company Xing SE, Dammtorstraße 30, 20354 Hamburg, Germany, on our website. Through these functions, you can, for example, share content on Xing directly via our website, log in via Xing or follow interesting content. You can recognise the plug-ins by the company name or the Xing logo. When you call up a website that uses a Xing plug-in, data may be transmitted to the "Xing servers", stored and evaluated. In this data protection declaration, we would like to inform you about what data is involved and how you can manage or prevent this data storage.

Zoom privacy policy

We use the video conferencing tool Zoom of the American software company Zoom Video Communications for our website. The company is headquartered in San Jose, California, 55 Almaden Boulevard, 6th Floor, CA 95113. Thanks to "Zoom", we can hold a video conference with customers, business partners, clients and employees very easily and without installing any software. In this privacy statement, we will go into more detail about the service and inform you about the most important privacy-relevant aspects.

What is Zoom?

Zoom is one of the world's best-known video conferencing solutions. With the "Zoom Meetings" service, we can hold an online video conference with you, for example, but also with employees or other users via a digital conference room. This makes it very easy for us to get in touch digitally, exchange information on various topics, send text messages or even talk on the phone. Furthermore, you can also share the screen via Zoom, exchange files and create a whiteboard.

Why do we use Zoom?

It is important to us that we can communicate with you quickly and easily. And this is exactly what Zoom offers us. The software program also works directly via a browser. This means we can simply send you a link and start the video conference. Of course, additional functions such as screen sharing or exchanging files are also very practical.

What data is stored by Zoom?

When you use Zoom, data is also collected from you so that Zoom can provide its services. On the one hand, this is data that you consciously make available to the company. However, data is also automatically transmitted to Zoom and stored. This includes, for example, technical data from your browser or your IP address.
